Extra Curricular Activities

Knockmore Primary School offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities and children enjoy being part of these clubs.

 

Mrs Sharpe and Mrs Nelis are the teachers in charge of Good News Club which meets every Monday afternoon between 3pm and 4pm. The Year 4-7 pupils enjoy listening to stories, learning memory verses and singing with visiting speakers.

 

Miss Poots helps out with the Football Club each Thursday afternoon from 3pm to 4pm.

Boys and girls may join from Year 5 to Year 7.

     

 

Miss Browning takes ICT club.

They meet after Christmas.

  

Miss Kilpatrick is the girls' Netball Coach.

     

 

Miss Montgomery has started up our School's Council which will be made up of pupils from both Key Stages 1 and 2.

They will meet throughout the year to make decisions on school issues.

 

 Mrs Jones leads the Eco Club which is a team of pupils who are elected by and represent each year group in the school.

They are working towards the Silver award with enthusiasm in order to achieve the prestigious Green Flag Eco Award for our school.

   

 

 Mrs Stuttard runs the Music Club.

They meet each Tuesday during the first term.

All Year 4 to Year 7 pupils are welcome.

 

Mrs Ingram has started up a Pottery Club.

They meet each Tuesday afternoon during the second term.

Pupils in Year 6 are welcome.

 

 

 

 

Art and Craft Club is run by Mrs Morrison.

They meet each Wednesday during the first term to do art and craft activities.

Pupils in Years 4 and 5 are welcome.

 

Hockey Club is a new addition this year. Run by Miss Davidson it is held on a Wednesday at 3-4pm.  Any Year 6 or Year 7 girls are welcome.
