Welcome to our Year 7 class.

 

 

We were investigating how germs can easily spread, using hand cream and glitter. Needless to say, we are still finding glitter everywhere! 

STEM Investigation: Making lava lamps. 

We are reading Under the Hawthorne and tried eating some of the foods which the children ate. It wasn’t too popular with our class. 

PSNI Officers came in to teach us about staying safe online.

Our new WAU topic is Our Solar System

We have been learning about the phases of the moon and created the moon’s cycle which takes 28 days. 

We designed space badges for our own missions, like NASA do for each of their missions. 

We went to the SSE Arena to watch a ladies’ ice hockey match. We were backing the Princeton Tigers

Making Butter like the Victorian’s!

The Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke came in to visit us, to talk about the dangers of vaping! 

We marked the start of Anti-Bullying Week in style with Odd Socks Day! It was a great way to celebrate what makes us all unique.

Primary 7 were getting creative, being silly, and showing off their wild side with their wacky hairstyles on Crazy Hair Day.

A Victorian Christmas at the Castle. It is very busy at Hillsborough Castle at this time of year as family and servants prepare a very exciting Christmas.
